I scrawl...
my inner thoughts...
I am reading again the sequel to twilight -new moon- recently.
Since the movie will soon be seen in theaters, I thought I'd refresh the story in my mind.
When I first read New Moon last year, I cried at the part when Edward left Bella.
It reminded me of...my own heartbreak...and I really feel like crying the whole time I was reading the book even if there was nothing in it that would make me cry.
and now, I did not cry anymore at that part when Edward left Bella though I still have the feeling that tears would pour down my eyes anytime. But I didn't. kinikilig pa nga ako ngayon sa mga part ni Bella and Jacob.
so anyway, the whole point of this entry is to share some of the nicest quotes I found while reading the book.
"Love, life, meaning... over." p.73
"Time passes. Even when it seems impossible. Even when each tick of the second hand aches like the pulse of blood behind a bruise. It passes unevenly, in strange lurches and dragging lulls, but pass it does. Even for me." p.93
"Forbidden to remember, terrified to forget; it was a hard line to walk." p.117
"It didn't feel like the pain had weakened over time, rather that I'd grown strong enough to bear it." p.118
"When I realized that there was nothing to search for, and nothing to find." p.123
"Maybe someday, years from now-if the pain would just decrease to the point where I could bear it-I would be able to look back on those few short months that would always be the best of my life." p.124
"Sometimes, kismet happens." p.126
"That everything remained, untouched, and forgotten behind them. Just like me." p.162
most readers like new moon in the least because Edward wasn't there halfway of the story and mostly because it was (for me) the saddest sequel of twilight. But I like it. I like twilight the best, of course, and if I would rank all four books Breaking Dawn would be next. Then, New Moon and Eclipse would tie the third place. hehe.
I like New Moon because of the fact that even though it's a sad story, there was a message hidden in it.
It's about moving on...
